AUCTION RULES
Each guest will be given a bid card with their own bid number then they check in the evening of the auction. By bidding on the live or silent auction, each bidder agrees to abide by the following auction rules:
To bid in the live auction, hold your paddle with the bid number toward the auctioneer. A bid acknowledgement by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item by the end of the auction evening.
Where there is a Guaranteed Purchase Price, writing your bid number on the Guaranteed Purchase Price line constitutes your commitment to buy the
auction item at the Guaranteed Purchase Price.
The purchaser assumes responsibility to remove purchases from the auction premises. Purchasers may claim from the Cashier the certificate for services and tangible items not displayed. Should you purchase two or more items, you may pay for them in one transaction.
Reservations for trips and vacation accommodations must be mutually agreed upon with the donor unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be allowed on travel packages, even on cancelled tickets or accommodations. Auction items will be awarded to one purchaser only. Please check all expirations and black out dates carefully.
All purchases are final; there will be no refunds or exchanges unless otherwise noted.
Each person who is issued a bid number (bidder) assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability Pioneer Elementary School, the Davis Joint Unified School District and the Pioneer PTA, its elected and appointed officials, members and its employees, the auctioneer, the event organizers, sponsors and/or
volunteers connected with it.
